Calia Italia Gerrit Armchair 1189

Generous and cosy, ‘Calia Italia Gerrit Armchair’ is a modern interpretation of the classic reading armchair, which is both new and familiar at the same time.

The inner part of the armchair is decorated with workmanship reminiscent of quilting, which is also continued on the footstool in continuity with the seat. This footstool, with its trapezoidal shape, integrates perfectly with the geometry of the armchair.

This armchair and footstool is available in the fixed version with metal feet or in a swivel version that rests on a spoked base – perfect for business/office use. In both versions, fixed or swivel, the Calia Italia Gerrit Armchair can be fitted with regenerated leather armrests.

All components (feet, spoked base and armrests) are available in different finishes and/or colours and when combined with the chosen upholstery, numerous customised combinations can be created.

Only on versions 100 and 143, metal frame on sides, covered with regenerated cuoietto leather in 02 Black, also available in the following color options: 01 Russian leather, 03 Dark Grey, 04 White, 05 Dark Brown, 07 Sand, 29 Dove-Grey, 35 Clay.

Version AV9 rests on a metal structure (see Standard feet) partially covered with regenerated cuoietto leather in 02 Black, as a standard, also available in the above mentioned color options.

Spring system: elastic webbing
Seat Padding: in ecological polyurethane foam covered with 100% polyester layer.
Back Padding: in ecological polyurethane foam covered with 100% polyester layer.

Removability: not available
Sewing: leather coverings feasible with contrast stitching in the colors available; cuts and sewing vary on microfiber (or fabric) coverings. Mechanisms: structures on versions 143 and 718 rest on a metal swivel mechanism.

Standard feet: shiny metal standard feet, h 13.5 cm. Alternatively, it is possible to choose among the standard finishes enclosed in the sample book. The sample book also includes “special” finishes available with a price upcharge, subject to production approval.

The production of waste and scraps is in fact reduced to a minimum, energy and water consumptions are constantly monitored and optimized.
